Great advise, I certainly don't have enough experience under my belt yet and need more and as you suggest, I might not get as easily with a union rating. I appreciate that very excellent advise Tony, much obliged. I know you said that most of your work is in the commercial area.

I have a commercial audition tomorrow at BC and should be able to download a script later today. I am not sure how I did at N.Andover on Monday. I did my monologue and faked my through a few brain freezes and when it was over the older John (Seymore) came in and I was asked to do it again only a little faster and "lighter"(it's was the opening monlogue by Alvy Singer in Annie Hall) After I did it again I asked him whether it was the way he wanted it and he said yes it was "perfect". I guess it will be a while before I hear anything

Hi Tony,

I remembered your remark about avoiding joining SAG as "long as possible" and I am also of that mind but apparently AFTRA is about to merge with SAG and anyone that joins AFTRA (which just takes $1,600 but no credits ). I am wondering if I should take atvantage of this small window of opportunity? Would appreciate your opinion. That window closes in a few weeks.

Best regards and will be hoping you get that Lilly role.

HI Tony, It was nice chatting with you at the audition yesterday. I mentioned your audition for "Gilded Lilly" to Michael Fennimore my acting teacher at Boston Casting and he said he might see there today. Good luck on that audition today.
