Duncan is an award winning screenwriter. His credits include the Van Gogh Award winning children's educational TV pilot "Half Pint," the Smithsonian documentary film, "Partnership Runs Deep," that won two Gold Screen Awards in 2008, a community service campaign, "Canisters" that won a New England Emmy Award, and his several other of his screenplays and manuscripts have taken top honors at the Going Green Film Festival, the Woods Hole Film Festival, the Spotlight on New England Screenplay Competition, the International Family Film Festival, and the SOLA award and .
He also serves on the board of the Rhode Island International Film Festival, receiving their Producers Circle Award in 2009 and is the creator of the Emmy winning 7DayPSA, a national filmmaker competition with multiple Emmy nominations producing public service announcements for non-profits in cities across New England. Duncan created the Children's Hospitals International Film Festival in 2017 premiering at Boston Children's Hospital before moving on to hospitals across the US and abroad. T
