Oscar is a graduate and scholarship recipient of the University of Miami Drama Department, where he was a regular at the Ring Theatre with lead and supporting roles such as Protean in A Funny Thing Happened..., Willie in The Time of Your Life, Doody in Grease, and was named to the all-star cast for his performance as Elmer in The Happy Journey at the University of Miami District Drama Festival.

He has done commercials for McDonald's, Colgate, AT&T, HBO, and Sonic Burgers, amongst others; various roles on both One Life to Live and Guiding Light; appearances on Saturday Night Live and Law & Order. Some of his many voice-overs cover K-Mart, M&M's, Showtime, Hugo Boss, Budweiser, Canon, Radio Shack; promos for Univision, along with cartoon voices for USPS and PBS/P-Pals and read news for several years at IN TOUCH radio network for the blind.

His print work includes Johnson & Johnson, McGraw-Hill, American Health magazine and New York Newsday, in addition to several industrials. Recent feature films include Ceremony (Chef), Wolf of Wall Street, Manhattan Night, and Mob Town. He has attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts advanced acting program in NYC as well as done readings for the Latino Playwrights Festival; He has taught voiceovers at the SAG Conservatory in NYC for 6 years as well as teaching it privately.

Audiotours include the New York Main Public Library, the Saint John Paul II national shrine in Washington DC, the RMS Queen Mary docked in Long Beach, CA, the WPA murals in Norwalk, CT, as well as the Houston Space Center.
