These are great! Let me put in a plug for Picco's. I've been going there since it opened because of the quality of the food, the really interesting dishes and of course the luscious ice cream, which is as good as anything in Boston and better than almost everyone. A plus is I later got to know the co-owner with her husband, Mary Niederkorn, whom many may now as one of Boston's accomplished actors and filmmakers. So now you've got two good reasons for going to Picco's.

Mary Neiderkorn, a fellow actor I knew from Carter-Thor Studios, is co-owner of Picco. She is an accomplished actress and a good person to know. Plus, they have a REAL soda fountain (floats!) and they make their own ice cream. Whenever I have an audition at the BCA, I always treat myself with ice cream from Picco. Their dinners are made in the open kitchen, all very fresh and reasonably-priced. Thank you Bradley and Mary for this perc!
