Hey Ted,
I don't know of any online courses, but it might as easy as just doing a google search. Also, if you want to let your friend know, I am currenly teaching Italian on the side. Let them know that I have an M.A. with a 3.97 GPA from Middlebury College, if they are interested in private lessons.
