Acting in Films is a 6-session intensive and hands-on interactive course in which students will learn the basics of how to work on-camera and develop the skills of successful auditioning for film. We will review “type” and how it will relate to your career, script and character analysis, and the technical aspects of communicating via the camera.  

Emphasis is placed on learning how to focus energy, playing characters while being camera/technically  aware, preparing, making choices, playing honestly, working physically with the restrictions of a camera, learning from playback, learning how to play a scene with other actors, etc.
