Introduction to Fighting for Film and Stunt Work Class: 6-week course. Instructor: Matt Martino. Cost: $300, $275 for former Fighting for Film Workshop Attendants.

Time/Date: 6:30-9:00PM Mondays (January 31st to March 7th, 2011)

This class is an introduction to fighting for film and is geared toward those with little or no formal training.  It is also an opportunity for those with experience to brush up on basic technique.  Classes will focus on unarmed brawling using the most common moves seen in films today and can be adapted to the martial arts style.  Every class will have students fighting in front of the camera followed by a viewing of the footage.  It will cover brawling, wrestling and basic falls.  Field trips at additional expenses will cover hand guns safety. The six week course will culminate in an on location movie shoot that will showcase every participant in a fighting role.  This is a great way to develop an action oriented demo reel.

This class will require physical activity.  Injury or health issues may prevent you from participating. Wear sweatpants, sneakers and a t-shirt or tank top, and bring a full water bottle.
