Event Description

Santa Sierra wrote the script for this screenplay, the winner of the 2013 Women in Film & Video New England and Harvard Script Writers' Contest about twin 9 year olds from El Salvador who flee to the U.S., escaping violence, to look for the man they believe to be their father, Sylvester Stallone. I narrated a specially edited version of the screen play, performing alongside a full cast. My narration included moving the script's scenes forward, acting out numerous violent scenes as well as the most poignant ones. This staged reading was produced by WIFVNE and cosponsored by the Boston Latino Film Festival, Centro Presente and many other organizations.
