Next Step New York Showcase Auditions!

lau lapides company presents Next Step New York Showcase. This
unique, all inclusive program will put you in front of top New York
Agents to Showcase your talents. A highlight of this exceptional
program will be an opportunity to prepare for the Showcase with
our New York City partners as well as the best trainers and coaches
New England has to offer! All preparation will take place at lau
lapides company in Wellesley, MA. Actors will then be escorted by
lau lapides company representatives to New York City to Showcase
for top theatre, television and film industry agents.
We are seeking professionally minded actors who have interest in
working in New York. After the success of our recent program we
have now opened a youth showcase opportunity for young actors
ages 7-17.

Audition Dates:
Sunday June 5, 10am-4pm
Monday June 6, 12-9pm
Saturday June 11 10am-4pm
Sunday June 12, 10am-4pm
Saturday June 18, 10am-4pm
Sunday June 19, 10am-4pm
Monday June 20, 6:30-9:30pm

• Please note: All auditions will be taped and reviewed by lau
lapides company and New York partners.
Showcase will take place in July/August, 2011 in New York City

Showcase Requirements:
• Audition by appointment only. No drop-ins please.
• Please bring headshot and resume. If you do not have a
headshot, we will take a photo of you on the day of your
audition.
• Prepare a one minute monologue (memorized) OR you may
prepare a two person scene from any theatre, television, or
film project (a reader will be provided).
Once you have auditioned and your tapes have been reviewed by
the Boston and New York teams, you will receive a written
acceptance letter into the program. At this point you will be asked
to provide payment for the program.
Over half of our actors who participated in our spring 2011
showcase had multiple agents who expressed interest in meeting
with them.
