Theatre One Productions, Inc. a non- profit theatre company located in Middleboro MA since 1982, will be producing  our 5^th “Slice of Life New Works Festival,” at the Alley Theatre, 133 Center Street in Middleboro, MA, on May 4th and 5^th.  We are seeking 10 minute plays. Theme; When Life gives you Lemons, how do you make Lemon-Aid?

The goal of Theatre One through the festival is for playwrights to be heard and encouraged. Playwrights are welcome to attend and participate in conversation with the audience following the readings or if you prefer you will be sent the results of a feedback questionnaire regarding your play. Please when submitting your work send all contact information. A brief synopsis of the play, one submission only, cast size 2 to 6 characters, age range 20’s to 60s, and play not previously performed. We are looking for material that can be potentially developed into full length and produced by Theatre One. No monologues please.   Six plays will be selected for performance.

The new plays will be performed script in hand with some blocking, minimal set and props with stage directions read.

There is no entrance fee and playwrights will be notified if their work is selected by early March 2013. No hard copies please. Final date of submission, February 2, 2013. Print of all scripts must be submitted on PDF format or word doc. Font size 12 and exactly 10 minutes in length. Send to theatreoneproductions@yahoo.com.
