Well, I'm sorry to say I was a little disappointed. It is a "very" long drive to Bangor and I was really hoping to see "Fathers" on the big screen. What was there was a beautiful auditorium (the local high school), but a tiny screen set up on the stage and a home quality unbalanced video projector. The audience was very small, probably because there were more than one events going on at the same time. They were very appreciative though and that part was nice.
The other films that evening were quite good. “Nonstop Transcontinental Journey Across the United States” was about a team of guys who decided to try to drive across the country without actually stopping the car. It was done in a mock-u-mentory style and there were some very funny scenes. “I Just Want to Eat My Sandwich” was about a girl who was dying to eat her lunch, but someone in the office was constantly interrupting. A nice funny slice of life.
All in all it was worth it to see some of the crew (I was the only cast member to make the trek), but I'm hoping if we get into any more fests, they are a little closer or so far away I don't even think about going.
