"Broke" Trailer

The short film, entitled "Broke", is a dry comedy about a group of friends who are trying to survive, find jobs and realize their dreams, in the current state of our economy. Though the characters lack material wealth, the film focuses intently on the immaterial wealth that comes with having family, friends, hopes and dreams for the future. The cast and crew, of Broke, are predominantly Boston born actors/actresses, who are hungry to share their talents and creativity with others. As a company, we made it a top priority to showcase the beauty and potential that the inner city of Boston has to offer, by creating a film that is organic, and authentic to our own experiences, being born and raised on the streets of Dorchester, Mattapan and Roxbury.
