Hello Jack! Didn't receive any sides, however, I read a synopsis of the story. I think it has possibilities. I will likely go to the audition at any rate and see what's there.

Perhaps we'll meet there!

Best,

Paul

Hi Jack, I think you have me mixed up with someone else, but we did take a class together with Ann Baker and I saw you at the auditions for Justice Is Mind.  Hope things are going well for you!

Although the pending merger is certainly an incentive to "get in" now, I would say it's a personal decision.  If you think you have enough experience under your belt to put a reel together and that you've built relationships with all the casting agents in town, then perhaps you could make the move.  But it puts you in a position of not being able to do non-union work, which, in my estimation, is about 80% of the work in this market.  So while it sounds attractive, unless you're willing to work both the Boston and New York markets you may miss out on a lot of opportunities that would allow you to get exposure and experience that will serve you well when you do sign up.  I'd wait it out if I were you, but, like I said, only you know what's best for you!

Hi Jack,

A pleasure meeting you as well.  Hope the audition went well!  The callback went well, I'd say. I breathed, stayed calm, didn't fidget and knew all the lines.  Now, the waiting game...  Cheers!
